- Collect information from the website through unauthorized scraping, data extraction, or automated means;

We may restrict or terminate access to the website when reasonably necessary to protect our customers, business, systems, or legal rights.
Age and Authority
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order through the website.
If you place an order for a company, partnership, farm, organization, or another person, you confirm that you have authority to act on their behalf.
Customer Accounts
Some website features may require a customer account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and current information;
- Keeping your login information confidential;
- Restricting unauthorized access to your account; and
- Contacting us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may suspend or close an account that contains false information, is used fraudulently, or violates these Terms.
Please do not share payment information, passwords, or other sensitive information through an unsecured message or public website field.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate product names, descriptions, photographs, specifications, dimensions, capacities, compatibility information, prices, and availability.
However:
- Product colours and finishes may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screens, and manufacturing variations;
- Published dimensions and capacities may be approximate;
- Manufacturers may change specifications or manufacturing methods;
- Minor cosmetic or dimensional variations may occur;
- Galvanized surfaces may contain normal variations in colour, texture, spangle, or finish;
- Product photographs may show optional accessories, installation examples, livestock, landscaping, or other items that are not included; and
- Products may differ slightly from photographs without affecting their intended function.
The product title, selected model or variation, written description, and order confirmation determine what is included in your purchase.
Please contact us before ordering if a particular dimension, fitting, drain arrangement, accessory, colour, clearance, or compatibility requirement is essential to your intended use.
Selecting and Using Products
You are responsible for determining whether a product is appropriate for your intended application, location, livestock, water source, climate, installation method, and applicable legal or safety requirements.
Before ordering, consider:
- Product dimensions and capacity;
- Available installation and delivery space;
- Required access and clearance;
- Base preparation and structural support;
- Plumbing, drainage, filling, and overflow requirements;
- Water pressure and refill rate;
- Livestock size and drinking height;
- Material and chemical compatibility;
- Freeze protection and winter conditions;
- Supervision and safety requirements; and
- Municipal, provincial, building, health, environmental, or other requirements that may apply.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, we do not provide engineering, plumbing, structural, electrical, building-code, public-health, or legal advice.
Alternative Uses
Stock tanks are primarily manufactured as agricultural products. Customers may choose to use them for pools, cold plunges, aquaculture, gardens, planters, food-related applications, liquid storage, or other alternative purposes.
A product marketed as a livestock tank is not automatically designed, tested, certified, or approved for every alternative use.
Before using a product for an alternative purpose, you are responsible for investigating:
- Structural support and filled weight;
- Safe entry, exit, and supervision;
- Drowning and child-safety risks;
- Water treatment and sanitation;
- Electrical and plumbing safety;
- Water temperature and exposure risks;
- Material and chemical compatibility;
- Applicable permits, bylaws, fencing rules, or public-health requirements; and
- Whether modification or alternative use affects the manufacturer’s warranty.
Any examples, photographs, articles, or customer projects shown on the website are provided for inspiration or general information and do not constitute a representation that an application is safe, approved, code-compliant, or covered by warranty.
Prices, Taxes, and Additional Services
Unless otherwise stated:
- Prices are displayed in Canadian dollars;
- Applicable sales taxes are added as required by law;
- Shipping, delivery, installation, customs, duties, and additional services are not included unless expressly stated;
- Prices and promotions may change before an order is accepted; and
- Promotional offers are subject to their published conditions and availability.
Any mandatory charge imposed by Stock Tanks Canada will be disclosed before the customer completes the purchase. Government-imposed taxes and variable delivery or freight charges will be identified where applicable.
A price displayed because of an obvious typographical, technical, or system error may be corrected. If a material pricing or product-information error affects your order, we will contact you before proceeding. You may accept the corrected order or cancel the affected item for a full refund.
Quotations
A quotation is valid for the period stated on the quotation. If no period is stated, it may be revised before acceptance because of changes in inventory, supplier pricing, freight costs, fuel costs, exchange rates, taxes, or product availability.
A quotation applies only to the products, quantities, delivery address, access conditions, and services described in it.
Any change to the order, destination, site conditions, delivery method, timing, or required equipment may require a revised quotation.
Orders and Order Acceptance
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the selected products under these Terms. An automated order acknowledgement confirms that we received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
We may review an order to confirm:
- Product availability;
- Price and applicable taxes;
- Payment authorization;
- Delivery method and charges;
- Delivery-address accuracy and accessibility;
- Product or vehicle capacity;
- Special-order or handling requirements;
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized activity; and
- Compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
An order is accepted when we send an acceptance or fulfilment confirmation, confirm pickup or delivery arrangements, or begin preparing the order for fulfilment.
We may refuse or cancel an order when reasonably necessary because of unavailable inventory, an obvious error, payment failure, suspected fraud, an unsafe or unserviceable delivery request, or another legitimate operational or legal reason.
If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and refund any amount paid for the cancelled portion.
Online Contract Confirmation
After an online order is completed, we will provide or make available an order confirmation or other record of the transaction.
Please review it promptly and contact us if any information is incorrect.
You are responsible for ensuring that the email address, telephone number, billing address, delivery address, products, quantities, and selected options are accurate before submitting the order.
Payment
Payment must be made using a payment method accepted by us.
You confirm that:
- You are authorized to use the selected payment method;
- The billing information supplied is accurate; and
- You will pay all properly disclosed charges associated with the order.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not retain complete payment-card information where the transaction is handled through an external payment processor.
Some quotations, special orders, commercial orders, or deliveries may require a deposit or full payment before the order is prepared or dispatched. Any special payment terms will be provided in writing.
Ownership of a product does not pass to the customer until we have received full payment, subject to applicable law. Responsibility for loss or damage passes as described in the applicable pickup, shipping, or delivery arrangements.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order.
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a request, but an order may no longer be changeable or cancellable after:
- The product has been ordered from a supplier;
- A special-order or customized item has entered production;
- The order has been picked, packaged, loaded, or shipped;
- Delivery equipment or a third-party carrier has been booked; or
- Other non-refundable costs have been incurred.
We do not impose an automatic cancellation fee on every cancelled order.
When permitted by law, a cancellation charge may apply if we have incurred a disclosed and reasonable non-refundable cost resulting from the cancellation. This may include a supplier charge, special-order commitment, payment-processing cost that is not returned to us, carrier cancellation charge, or other direct cost.
We will explain any proposed cancellation deduction before completing the cancellation.
If we cancel an order for reasons unrelated to your breach of these Terms, you will receive a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled products and any related service that will not be provided.
Mandatory cancellation and refund rights under applicable consumer-protection law continue to apply.
Product Availability and Delays
Product availability and estimated lead times may change.
An item shown as available may become unavailable because of simultaneous orders, inventory errors, supplier delays, manufacturing changes, transportation interruptions, or damage discovered during inspection.
Delivery and availability dates are estimates unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
We are not responsible for reasonable delays caused by weather, road conditions, mechanical problems, carrier delays, labour disruptions, border or regulatory requirements, supplier delays, emergencies, natural events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will communicate material delays when reasonably possible.
Do not schedule installers, contractors, plumbers, water delivery, landscaping, events, or other dependent services until the product has arrived and been inspected.
Shipping, Delivery, and Customer Pickup
Our Shipping & Delivery Policy forms part of these Terms.
Stock Tanks Canada provides delivery throughout Ontario using its delivery operation and may arrange shipping to other Canadian destinations through third-party freight and logistics providers.
The available service and cost depend on:
- The products and quantities ordered;
- The delivery address;
- Distance and route availability;
- Site accessibility;
- Required trucks, trailers, or offloading equipment;
- Carrier availability; and
- Residential, rural, commercial, terminal, or remote-location requirements.
For oversized deliveries:
- You must provide accurate access and site information;
- The delivery route and unloading area must be safe and suitable;
- Our driver or carrier has final authority over safe access and unloading;
- Delivery does not automatically include installation or placement at the final intended location;
- Stock tanks will not be lifted over fences, buildings, vehicles, utility lines, or other substantial barriers;
- Final movement across lawns, soft ground, slopes, stairs, decks, buildings, or landscaped areas is not guaranteed; and
- Additional charges may apply for an incorrect address, inaccessible site, redelivery, waiting time, storage, refused shipment, or undisclosed access restriction; and
If a delivery price displayed online was based on inaccurate or incomplete information, we will contact you before proceeding with a material adjustment.
Delivery outside Ontario may involve commercial-address service, freight-terminal pickup, curbside delivery, driveway delivery, or another service level determined by the carrier.
Customer pickup must be confirmed in advance. Customers are responsible for bringing a suitable vehicle, trailer, tiedowns, and securement equipment. We may refuse to load an order when the proposed vehicle or loading arrangement appears unsafe.
Once a customer-picked-up order has been loaded and leaves the pickup location, the customer is responsible for safely securing and transporting it.
Delivery Access and Customer Responsibilities
Before delivery, you must ensure that:
- The delivery address and contact information are correct;
- Someone can be reached using the telephone number provided;
- The access road and driveway can accommodate the required truck and trailer;
- The unloading area is reasonably level, firm, and clear;
- Gates and access routes provide sufficient width;
- There is adequate clearance from trees, wires, eaves, structures, and other obstacles;
- Vehicles, equipment, animals, snow, mud, and other obstructions are removed;
- Required permissions for private roads, restricted properties, or shared access have been obtained; and
- Narrow roads, bridges, weight restrictions, steep grades, soft ground, low wires, limited turning space, or other access concerns have been disclosed in advance.
Our drivers and carriers may refuse an access route or unloading request they consider unsafe.
If the requested unloading location cannot be safely reached, the order may be unloaded at the nearest safe and accessible location, where possible.
Receiving and Inspecting an Order
Inspect your order promptly upon delivery or pickup.
Before the driver leaves, where practical:
- Confirm the number of products;
- Confirm the products and sizes match the order;
- Check for visible damage;
- Tell the driver about any problem;
- Record the issue on the delivery receipt or carrier documentation; and
- Take clear photographs.
If an item is damaged, incorrect, or missing:
- Keep the product and any packaging;
- Take photographs of the product, packaging, damage, and delivery condition;
- Keep the delivery receipt and supporting documents; and
- Contact Stock Tanks Canada promptly with your order number and a description of the problem.
Prompt reporting allows us to investigate the issue and, where applicable, submit a carrier claim. A delay in reporting does not remove any mandatory legal right, but it may make the cause and timing of damage more difficult to verify.
Do not refuse a shipment unless instructed by Stock Tanks Canada or accepting it would be unsafe. Unauthorized refusal may result in additional freight, storage, return, or handling charges.
Returns and Exchanges
All returns require prior authorization. Do not ship or bring a product back until we have provided return instructions.
To be considered for a change-of-mind return, a product must generally be:
- Unused and uninstalled;
- Clean and in resalable condition;
- Complete with its original parts, instructions, and packaging where applicable; and
- Accompanied by proof of purchase.
Return eligibility depends on the product, its condition, the time since purchase, and the cost and practicality of return transportation.
Unless the return results from our error, an incorrect product, an accepted warranty claim, a confirmed defect, or shipping damage for which we accept responsibility:
- Original shipping and delivery charges are generally non-refundable;
- The customer is responsible for return transportation;
- Oversized products may require specialized return arrangements; and
- Reasonable restocking, carrier, or handling charges may apply when disclosed and permitted by law.
Special-order, custom, used, installed, altered, clearance, and Scratch & Dent products may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Products that have contained water, chemicals, soil, feed, bodily fluids, waste, or another substance may be ineligible for return for health, safety, contamination, or resale reasons.
These restrictions do not eliminate any cancellation, refund, repair, replacement, or other remedy required by law.
Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution. Shipping, delivery, return-transportation, handling, or other charges will be refunded only where required by law or included in the approved resolution.
If only part of an order is returned or cancelled, the refund will apply only to the affected products and services.
Scratch & Dent, Clearance, and As-Is Products
Scratch & Dent, clearance, and as-is products may have cosmetic damage, dents, scratches, discolouration, surface imperfections, packaging damage, prior handling, repairs, or other conditions described before purchase.
Please review all available descriptions and photographs before ordering.
A condition disclosed before purchase is not an undisclosed defect merely because it affects the product’s appearance. Photographs form part of the condition description when they show the actual item offered.
Scratch & Dent and clearance products may be final sale for change-of-mind purposes.
This does not exclude rights relating to:
- An undisclosed material defect;
- A misrepresentation;
- A product supplied in error;
- Damage that was not disclosed; or
- Another right that cannot legally be waived.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a cosmetic classification does not mean the product has been independently certified for an alternative or safety-sensitive use.
Installation and Modification
Unless expressly included in writing, products are supplied without:
- Site preparation;
- Excavation;
- Base construction;
- Plumbing or electrical work;
- Levelling;
- Assembly;
- Installation;
- Connection;
- Filling; or
- Ongoing maintenance.
Improper installation, insufficient support, incompatible fittings, freezing, misuse, unauthorized modification, corrosive materials, excessive loading, impact, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions may damage a product and may affect warranty coverage.
The customer is responsible for obtaining qualified assistance where the installation requires plumbing, electrical, structural, mechanical, or other specialized knowledge.
Drilling, cutting, heating, coating, painting, lining, repairing, or otherwise modifying a product is performed at the customer’s risk unless authorized in writing by the manufacturer or Stock Tanks Canada.
Manufacturer Warranties
Some products include a manufacturer’s limited warranty. Warranty duration, coverage, exclusions, remedies, and claim requirements are determined by the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty.
Our Warranties page provides general information but does not replace the manufacturer’s official warranty terms.
To request warranty assistance, contact us with:
- Proof of purchase;
- Product and model information;
- A description of the issue;
- Clear photographs or video; and
- Installation and usage information; and
- Any other information reasonably required to assess the claim.
Do not repair, modify, dispose of, or return the product unless instructed.
Manufacturer warranties may exclude damage caused by improper installation, misuse, freezing, impact, inadequate support, chemical incompatibility, unauthorized modification, natural events, normal wear, or transportation after customer pickup.
Manufacturer warranty limitations do not replace or reduce any statutory warranty or consumer right that applies to the sale.
Resale and Commercial Customers
Dealers, resellers, contractors, farms, and other commercial purchasers are responsible for:
- Inspecting products before resale, installation, or use;
- Providing accurate product and warranty information to their customers;
- Complying with applicable advertising, tax, safety, and consumer-protection requirements;
- Not making unauthorized representations or warranties on our behalf; and
- Following any separate dealer, wholesale, quotation, or commercial agreement.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, purchasing a product does not appoint the purchaser as an agent, representative, distributor, or authorized dealer of Stock Tanks Canada.
Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, product presentations, downloads, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Canada East Supply & Distribution Inc.
You may view and print website content for personal, non-commercial purchasing and reference purposes.

Customer Reviews, Photographs, and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, photograph, video, testimonial, project description, or other content, you confirm that:
- The content is accurate and lawful;
- You created it or have permission to submit it;
- It does not infringe another person’s rights;
- You have permission from identifiable people appearing in it; and
- It does not contain confidential, defamatory, deceptive, or unlawful material.
Your submission and our handling of personal information associated with it are also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Any ownership assignment, licence, or permission applying to submitted content will be as described in the Privacy Policy or a separate written submission agreement.
We may decline, edit, remove, or stop displaying submitted content where reasonably necessary, but we are not required to publish every submission.
Third-Party Websites and Services
The website may contain links to manufacturers, dealers, payment providers, carriers, social-media services, or other third parties.
We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, or independent terms. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement.
Third-party services used to process payments or deliver orders may be governed by additional terms relevant to their service.
Privacy
Our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy and applicable privacy legislation.
By submitting an order or inquiry, you authorize us to use and disclose information reasonably required to:
- Process payment;
- Communicate with you;
- Prevent fraud;
- Fulfil the order;
- Arrange pickup, shipping, or delivery;
- Provide customer service;
- Process returns or warranty requests; and
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.
Website Availability and Security
We make reasonable efforts to operate and protect the website, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Website functions may be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical failures, third-party services, internet interruptions, security events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may correct errors, update content, restrict access, or suspend website functions when reasonably necessary.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Stock Tanks Canada is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from website use, product delay, improper installation, misuse, an unsuitable application, or a circumstance outside our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for loss or damage caused by:
- Inaccurate information provided by the customer;
- Failure to follow product or manufacturer instructions;
- Improper installation, support, maintenance, or modification;
- Use of a product for an incompatible or undisclosed purpose;
- Unsafe delivery access or unloading instructions;
- Work performed by an independent installer, contractor, carrier, or other third party; or
- Normal wear or cosmetic aging;
- Weather exposure, freezing, corrosion, impact, or livestock activity; or
- Another cause outside the product’s intended or warranted use.
Where liability may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product or service.
This section does not limit liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury caused by negligence, breach of a mandatory legal obligation, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Indemnity for Commercial or Unlawful Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, a commercial purchaser agrees to be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable expenses resulting from its:
- Unlawful use of the website or products;
- Unauthorized product modification;
- Misleading resale representations;
- Infringement of another person’s rights; or
- Failure to comply with applicable installation, safety, or regulatory requirements.
This section does not apply to the extent that a claim resulted from our own breach, negligence, or unlawful conduct.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our products, services, operations, or legal obligations.
The revised Terms will apply from the effective date shown at the top of the page. Changes will not retroactively alter an accepted order unless required by law or agreed to by both parties.
The version in effect when an order is accepted will generally govern that order.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
Any dispute will be subject to the courts with jurisdiction in Ontario, except where applicable consumer-protection law gives a customer the right to bring a proceeding in another jurisdiction.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
A failure or delay in enforcing a provision does not waive our right to enforce that provision or another provision later.
Assignment
You may not transfer an accepted order or your rights under these Terms without our written consent.
We may assign our rights or obligations as part of a business reorganization, sale, financing, or transfer, provided this does not reduce a consumer right that cannot legally be reduced.
Entire Agreement and Order of Precedence
These Terms, together with the applicable:
- Product page;
- Order confirmation;
- Written quotation;
- Shipping & Delivery Policy;
- Privacy Policy;
- Manufacturer warranty;
- Return instructions; and
- Any order-specific written agreement
form the agreement between you and Stock Tanks Canada.
If an order-specific written quotation or agreement conflicts with these general Terms, the order-specific written provision will govern that order.
If a manufacturer’s warranty conflicts with a general warranty summary on our website, the manufacturer’s official warranty governs, subject to applicable law.
Electronic Communications
You agree that order confirmations, quotations, invoices, notices, and other transaction-related communications may be provided electronically using the email address or customer account associated with your transaction.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information current and retaining copies of important transaction documents.
